Ben and I were going through some old boxes and uncovered a small stash of these very rare trading cards that were issued when he was elected to the United States Congress from Georgia—shortly after The Dukes of Hazzard.
That’s right… Cooter Davenport went to Congress!
These original cards date back to the late 1980s–early 1990s, with some from the 102nd Congress era, and were produced as political/trading cards and informational pieces during his time in office. They even list his Washington office, district office, and committee assignments—a true snapshot of that moment in history.
Each one is hand-signed by Ben Jones, making these a unique crossover collectible—part Dukes of Hazzard history, part real-life Capitol Hill.
